Old Shrewsbury Village is a shopping center that features a large Christmas Tree Shop and several other chains. While the Christmas Tree Shop is a big chain and has a lot more than just holiday shopping, many of the surrounding stores are small businesses with a lot to offer seasonal shoppers. Stores like Candy Hop offer up delicious treats that are a nice change from mass-produced candy. The quaint atmosphere and proximity to every shopping need is also nice at a time of year when everyone is trying to get a lot done at once.

Santa, a gingerbread village, a play area and a Dickens village are among the sights at this event. Of course, there are also more than 100 Christmas trees to enjoy while shopping the various vendors and artisans who are set up for the show. More than just a chance to go shopping, this festival is a chance to truly appreciate the beauty of the season.
